Our Lovebug on V-day!

Ready for me to say something that is soooo true, yet a bit cliche?  Well, here it goes:  Holidays are so much more fun with a kiddo!  That was particularly true for Valentine's Day!

The day started out with a "funtastic" brunch at Alex and Leigh Ann's house.  Alex's mommy had the great idea of a cookie exchange / v-day party!  The kids played, we visited, and ate, and ate, and ate and then got to eat cookies for the next week (or if you lived in our house, eat cookies for the next three days, that is how long 5 dozen cookies should last in a house with 2 adults, right?)  Here's a peek into all the fun that was had that morning:

Clay took advantage of the stairs at Alex's to climb stairs for the very first time!

All the kiddos!  The intention with this picture was to get the babies to hold letters that spelled out LOVE; as usual, the babes had other plans!  This was the best group shot that I got :)

Seriously, that smile just melts my heart!  His shirt is pretty awesome too - it has smurfs on it and says "Cause I'm a Ladies Man"

Clay hard at play and his shirt is on better display, as is a huge bib o' drool because Clay was of course, letting his teeth come in a bit more!

After a super fun day, we got to Celebrate V-day again when Daddy got home!  Clay got a crawling tunnel from us along with big boy bath gear (non slip fish for the bottom of the tub, toys, bubble bath, etc.)!  He was pretty excited about it all!

Hershey had to help Clay check out the tunnel.

Clay cautiously checks out the tunnel.

I thought this was just too funny, he was a bit confused about being stuck at the "bottom" of it.

Again, Valentine's Day was so great!  Jim and I are so lucky to have one another and are equally blessed to have that little man as our son.  I assure you we tell him countless times a day how much we love him and kiss on him as many times as possible (full disclosure, it's my personal goal to kiss him enough so that he'll have enough kisses stock piled that no matter how old he is, he'll have had a kiss from Mommy for every day of his life.) but it's fun to have a day to reflect and amp it up just a bit more!

More to come soon!
