California Dreamin' - Day 6 & 7 (Santa Barbara and Burbank)

Our last full day in California was jam packed with with activities so right after breakfast, we checked out of our hotel and got down to business at... The Santa Barbara Zoo!  Clay LOVED seeing the animals and was especially interested in the ducks and flamingos.

Another first, Clay feeding himself an "intact" sandwich (rather than being torn into little pieces)
After our fun morning at the zoo we headed out to Burbank where we'd catch our flight the next day.  We don't have any pictures of the rest of the trip, but we took advantage of our time in Burbank to do a little bit of sight seeing via our sweet rental car.  We managed to see Mulholland Drive, the Kodak Theater, Grauman's Chinesse Theater (along with Walt Disney's Star and John Tesh's Star - wish I had a cooler one to end on but seriously, these are the stars we could see from the car), Ford's Theater, and the Hollywood Bowl.

In preparation for our flight, Jim once again tried (and this time succeeded) in getting the GoGo Babyz trend stroller attached to Clay's car seat (thank you, You Tube!).  The next day we got up and flew home.

It was a wonderful trip; we are so blessed to have a kiddo who is willing to just go with the flow so that we can have these neat experiences as a family!
