Ahhh, fall is here and we arrived at my favorite time of year (from now through February there is a fun holiday EVERY month and each one of them is a great reason for fun times with friends and family). The Halloween fun started for our family last weekend when Jim's parents came to town. They graciously agreed to come be our live in babysitters (aka grandparents on duty) for the entire weekend since I had my 10 year high school reunion.
Since they were in town, we took the opportunity to give Clay's Halloween costume a trial run and it was a success. He wasn't weirded out by having something on his head and he wasn't freaked out by the fury baby that peered back at him in the mirror (hooray!). We got some great pictures of Clay in his costume and got some cute pics at a local pumpkin patch. There is a church by our house that sells pumpkins every year to benefit their youth mission trips; we've gone there every October since we moved into our house 2 1/2 years ago so it was very cool to get to bring Clay this time!

Halloween festivities picked back up this weekend with the Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA Fall Festival. (Wow! That's a mouthful!) The carnival is held each year at the elementary school where Clay will one day go (White Rock Elementary) so it was very neat to get to start making memories at the school that Clay will one day attend. The carnival was extra special because Grand Bop came over share in the day!

| We saw quite a few friends at school but were super happy to meet up with the Musgraves. Isn't Parker the cutest little cow! |

We've still have a bit more Halloween fun planned for today but we've already had a blast and have started some great traditions with our little monkey!

He for sure was the cutest monkey I've seen:)
